* 5 year experience in oil or associate OEM industry
* Experienced in the use and application of oils and greases
* Familiar with all current legislation on lubricants
* Project management experience
* Customer orientated with excellent communication skills
Day to day involvement with customers, answering technical queries, ensure at all time high standards of recommendations in line with specifications, regulations and policies and strategies. To be able to explain "high end" technical issues to non-technical users, so they can use the information in day-to-day applications or solve the problem. To respond and give recommendations in case of product contamination or failure of equipment regarding lubrication.

The Technical Field Engineer role provides support for the activity of the Sales Teams in selling a wide range of oils, greases and coolants across the UK. The Technical Field Engineer provides technical support via telephone and e-mail for the sales channels across the wider lubricants business as necessary.
The Technical Field Engineer will also undertake trials, oil sampling and analysis on site visits to make the best possible recommendations to clients for products and uses. The Technical Field Engineer also has the ability to contribute to the development of new products in conjunction with the client, Sales Manager, and Laboratory team in relation to the sample analysis.
