The European Public Affairs Directorate of TotalEnergies, located in Brussels, represents the company's interests and promotes its new objectives to European institutions. Its work mainly involves monitoring the European Green Deal, the recent Clean Industry Pact, and other key initiatives of the new European Commission mandate. You will join a team of about ten people in the heart of the European Union's capital.

Aktivitäten

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring legislative activities of the European institutions
  • Supporting the team in researching and analyzing legislative texts
  • Contributing to DAPE’s exchanges with the Company’s branches regarding public consultations from European institutions (Commission, ACER, etc.)
  • Event monitoring and mapping in Brussels, as well as attending and participating in certain events (e.g., at the European Parliament)
  • Assisting with outreach, organization/presentation, and follow-up of meetings with European institutions: Commission, Parliament, Permanent Representations

Media monitoring and participation in DAPE’s communication activities:

  • Tracking specialized publications on EU affairs
  • Preparing daily press reviews and distributing media content within the company

Participation in organizing public events aimed at fostering dialogue and informing about TotalEnergies’ actions (conferences, seminars, breakfast meetings, etc.)

Supporting the team in preparing working materials (presentations, briefing notes, position papers, biographical sheets, etc.)

You will also be invited/encouraged to develop your own initiatives, such as creating contacts through trainee circles or young professionals in the energy sector.

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

  • Fluent in English,
  • Master's degree in Political Science or Public Affairs or equivalent profile,
