Integrated Power Modelling (IPM), in OneTech Technical Line Power, supports the company’s technological ambitionin the digitalization of renewable energies value chain. It brings together cross‑domain expertise (scientific and digital)to deliver digital products with the goal of maximizing both the performance and value of renewable assets (solar, wind,energy storage).

It is built around four platforms, each oriented toward internal business clients (GRP, REN, FPI, Trading, etc.):Origination & Design, Grid Integration, Operations Performance & Optimization, and Forecasting. Each platform isstructured into three teams: Product Solutions (PS), Research & Capability Development (RCD) and Software Delivery& Operations (SDO).

The Operations Performance & Optimization platform’s products focus on operational efficiency and the optimization ofassets, with strong Data/Cloud integration and Machine Learning/Optimisation orientationAs Software architect, you will operate in the SDO team, and interact in close collaboration with Product Managers (inPS), Product Owners (in SDO) and RCD team, as well as with entities out of IPM (eg Digital Line, IT Department,Innovation Accelerator, TTE On…)

Aktivitäten

Within an organization undergoing digital transformation, the Software/Platform Architect leads the design andevolution of software architectures in collaboration with Tech Leads, developers, Data Engineers, Product Owners,cybersecurity teams, and cloud teams (AWS/Azure). You will contribute to the technology strategy, governance, andproduct quality. More precisely, you will:
  • Define, design, and upgrade software architectures at platform level, primarily following modern service-oriented approaches.
  • Retrieve, analyze, modernize, and enhance proofs of concept and/or legacy code.
  • Ensure consistency, performance, robustness, and compliance with cybersecurity, IT Foundations, and cloudrules (TGITS, SecOps…).
  • Make pragmatic trade-offs according to business value, technical constraints...
  • Participate in quality assurance (architecture reviews, software quality, performance, resilience).
  • Contribute to industrialization (“You design it, you run it”): deployment, operability, observability, availability.
  • Support technical teams through best practices, design reviews, code reviews, and optimization.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

Required Technical Skills

  • Modern software architecture (microservices, REST API, event‑driven, cloud‑native, hexagonal design, DDD...).
  • Cloud (AWS/Azure/…): managed services, cloud patterns, security‑by‑design, performance, high availability.
  • DevSecOps / SRE: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containers (Docker), ELK, Grafana...Data: SQL/NoSQL, data modeling, data flows.Versatility across programming paradigms (functional, declarative, imperative, object-oriented). 
  • Proficiency inmultiple programming languages (Python, Java, C/C++, Node.js, LISP, …).
  • Appropriate use of design patterns (structural, behavioral, creational), evaluating their relevance and impact onmaintainability.
