Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Senior Land Contract Associate contractor reporting to our Austin, TX office.  This is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies.

The Senior Land Contract Associate will take responsibility for processing landowner payments for onshore renewable projects (wind, solar, battery, hybrid) following NTP through construction. You’ll interface with Development, Construction, Asset Management, Legal, Accounting, and other teams to provide information to landowners and the business. 


What You Will Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of real estate experience (preferably some in renewable energy)
  • Ability to understand legal documents and real estate contracts
  • Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM software and project management software)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft suite programs 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and 
  • Ability to understand legal documents and real estate contracts
  • Self-motivated, pay attention to detail, and strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong familiarity with relevant technology and tools such as GIS and land management database systems
  • Ability to adopt current processes and best practices
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to identify and communicate opportunities for creating efficiencies and process/resource enhancements.

Aktivitäten

  • Manage the processing of landowner payments accurately and timely, adhering to verification processes
  • Assist in data entry and data integrity of land management software to ensure compliance
  • Closely coordinate with VP Real Estate on any post-NTP outstanding development real estate activities
  • Support Construction/Asset Management PMs in amending lease agreements or updating ownership/directives of payments and ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained in file server and land management software
  • Coordinate landowner payment hand off meetings to Asset Management
  • Assist in processing executed site control documents, option notices, amendments, terminations, easements, estoppels, and affidavits
  • Coordinate and confirm all forms and draft real estate agreements have necessary Project approvals prior to execution of such documents by landowners
  • Support regulatory reporting and filing requirements pertaining to real estate
  • Support property tax reporting requirements
  • Manage outside contractors, when applicable, in the preparing and recording of real estate documents
  • Partner with development team to ensure strong and positive landowner relationships and communication throughout the lifetime of the projects
  • Maintain land real estate documents and folder within internal file server
