Aktivitäten

  • Manage National Accounts to meet the sales, profitability, and strategic growth goals as directed by the General Sales Manager, while minimizing expenses to accomplish these goals.
  • Develop, recommend, and negotiate contract proposals for Polymers Americas business. Contract parameters to include payment terms, quantity, pricing, Incoterms, etc. Negotiate monthly market prices and spot prices as guided by the General Sales Manager.
  • Motivate customers to improve forecast accuracy and develop customer collaboration to improve Polymer production schedule accuracy and minimize transition costs; communicate forecast accuracy to the National Sales Manager and Demand Planning Product coordinator to effect positive forecast accuracy.
  • The National Accounts Manager has the authority to quote prices to accounts with the guidance from the General National Manager. Supporting the National Sales Manager with completed cost analysis information to assist in decision making process.
  • Negotiate pricing, deliveries, and contracts that benefit TEPRI profitability.
  • Provide customer forecasting oversight, adjust customer forecasts (where needed), based on strategic direction for the current month plus two months; provide forecast feedback for the National Accounts to Demand Planning Coordinators for scheduling purposes and National Sales Manager monthly.
  • Develop new business: the National Accounts Manager plays a key role in developing new business with both existing and new customers.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships at all levels within the National Accounts customers assigned, including procurement line buyers, Procurement Managers, Business Directors & Executive Management; Technical Service Managers, Research and Development, plant operations, and the National Accounts most senior management.

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

Education/Experience:

  • College Degree: Four-year BS degree-Business or Technical preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 10 years field sales experience and extensive knowledge of the Polymers market.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent team building, interpersonal, proven leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills required, must be customer oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint) & SalesForce/Qlikview.
