Kontext & Umgebung

The Absheron Conventional Gas & Condensates field is located offshore Azerbaijan Republic in the Caspian Sea in 500 meters depth, at about 100km southeast of Baku, 25km north-east of Shah Deniz field and 34km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities. The project aims at supplying natural gas for both domestic market via Sangachal main facilities (condensate) and for international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP).

Aktivitäten

Strategy & Engineering

  • Define Maintenance & Inspection (M&I) strategies for CPF and subsea assets
  • Ensure maintainability and inspectability are embedded in design
  • Participate in HAZOP, 3D model reviews, risk assessments, technical reviews, and audits
  • Ensure integration of RBI, corrosion management, and integrity requirements in design.  

 

MIEC Management

  • Manage the Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contractor (MIEC)
  • Ensure delivery of:
    1. M&I philosophies and strategies
    2. RBI and inspection plans
    3. Spare Parts List
    4. CMMS population
    5. Maintenance programs and procedures
  • Monitor performance on scope, schedule, quality, and compliance

 

Systems & Data Readiness

  • Lead development and population of CMMS (SAP)
  • Implement Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS)
  • Establish inspection baselines and condition monitoring

 

Contracts & Procurement

  • Define and implement M&I contracting strategy
  • Prepare SOWs and manage tenders for:
    1. General maintenance
    2. Fabric maintenance
    3. Specialist services
  • Ensure all contracts are in place before start-up

 

Operational Readiness

  • Ensure availability of: 
  • Spare parts (capital & operational)
  • Procedures and documentation
  • Tools and resources
  • Build M&I organization, including staffing and training
  • Support commissioning activities, walkdowns, and punch list closure

 

Coordination

  • Interface with EPS, EPC, contractors, and HQ technical support
  • Ensure consistency across systems and databases (e.g., UNISUP)​

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas or industrial maintenance.   
  • Experience:  Maintenance and Inspection Strategies, Contractor Management, Start-up Readiness, Asset Integrity Management, Inspection Techniques, Reliability Engineering
  • Familiarity:  Maintenance and Inspection Engineering Contracts, CMMS systems (SAP), RBI methodologies, Company Specifications and International codes (API / ASME)
  • Education:  Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering  
  • Languages: English Required 
  • Location:  Baku
