At TotalEnergies EP Danmark, we are seeking an experienced Lead Environmental Advisor to help safeguard the environment, while supporting major offshore projects in the Danish North Sea.

 

In this role, you will drive the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process for our projects. In connection with this you will advise project teams, senior leadership and supervise contractors. If you enjoy complex assessments, crossdisciplinary collaboration, and shaping highprofile projects from early planning to approval, this could be your next step.

Aktivitäten

Key Responsibilities 

  • Overall accountable for the preparation and submission of EIA documentation for various projects related to extraction of oil and gas, CO2 injection, decommissioning of platforms etc.
  • Supervision and distribution of internal resources and contractors working on EIA’s
  • Communicate with regulatory authorities and coordinate the progress of EIA documentation through the approval process.
  • Follow changes in legislation related to EIA processes and ensure implementation 
  • Communicate with project team members, participate in project progress meetings, and integrate environmental requirements into project delivery.
  • Technically review consultant drafts and coordinate final document completion for submission to the regulator.
  • Revise documents in response to regulator and stakeholder comments.
  • Advise and integrate with senior leadership on environmental project delivery and performance.
  • Collaborate with HQ (Paris), other TotalEnergies affiliates, and environmental colleagues to develop environmental and biodiversity information for EIAs, environmental performance reporting, and environmental management.
  • Assist with the external environmental consultant tendering process.

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

What are we looking for in a candidate 

  • Proven track record in preparing environmental impact assessments (MKR Redegørelser) for projects offshore Denmark from beginning until authority approval. 
  • Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proactive, structured, and collaborative mindset
  • Familiar with Danish and EU Environmental law
  • Experience with environmental management systems, biodiversity considerations, or public/environmental health topics
  • Experience with consultant management or tender processes is a plus
