Accounting/Finance reporting

•Responsible for full spectrum of accounting and financial functions (payables, receivables, treasury, fixed assets, general ledger and
financial reporting)
•Oversee daily finance operations and treasury management matters.
•Oversee the month end close process and ensure review and postings of relevant journal entries and invoices on timely basis.
•Ensure timely preparation and review of monthly accounting schedules and reports (including debtors, payables, collection, accruals
and fixed asset listings)
•Ensure accurate preparation of monthly management and financial reports as per Group’s standard and local regulations
•Ensure intercompany transactions and creditor balances are reviewed and reconciled on timely basis.
•Day-to-day control and management of the working capital requirements
•Oversee the foreign exchange hedging exercise in accordance with Group’s standards
•Ensure activities comply with relevant Acts, regulations, requirements and internal policies
•Ensure preparation of company’s annual budget/forecast and submit in line with group’s standards
•Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, local authorities, etc.
Management and other related function

•Oversee employees’ claim verification process in accordance with local and group policies and standards.
•Involve in E-invoicing implementation and assist in ad-hoc project if required.
•Ensure the effective utilization, motivation, and accuracy of work for all direct reports through proactive management.
•Assist department in developing detailed plans for the department’s activities.
•Liaise with the external company secretarial agent in relation to corporate affairs matters.
•Assist to identify continuous improvement opportunities within accounting function particularly with a view towards simplifying
and/or digitalizing processes and reporting tools to provide up-to-date and meaningful information for both monitoring and
decision making
Qualification level required for the position : Level 6 = Bachelor’s or equivalent level
Technical skills required for the position : •Minimum 5 years’experience in accounting field with full spectrum accounting experience
of at least 2 years
Behavioral competencies required for the position : Strong analytical skills, problem solving and detail-oriented Ability to thrive in
fast-paced environment and work independently Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
Language skills required for the position : Business proficiency in English and Malay
Certification required for the position : Degree in accounting or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ICAEW etc)
Specific knowledge required for the position : Well verse and up to date with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and
Companies Act requirements. Good proficiency with SAP and MS Excel
Level of experience required for the position : Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting field with full spectrum accounting
experience of at least 2 years
