Aktivitäten

  • Prepare, execute, evaluate and participate in oil and gas Exploration programs of assets and new business opportunities (e.g. bidding rounds, Farm Out, …) evaluations based on technical geosciences evaluations under the guidance here-above defined.
  • Identify the petroleum potential of studied basins based on the integration of data from regional understanding to more local ones (wells, cores, outcrops).
  • Analyze, validate and integrate all relevant geological and geophysical data available within the given study area at regional, sub-regional, and prospect scales: Well correlations and results analysis (petrophysics, shows, geochemistry,…)
  • Incorporate and map all gathered information into the paleogeographic and depositional framework to mature valid exploration plays.
  • Participate to Data Rooms and collect geological and geophysical data on Assets or at regional scale. Contribute to organization of data bases. Takes time to gather & study bibliography and updates team on scientific or technical updates.
  • Initiate, follow and participate to geological and geophysical specialist studies (OT, EET,…) to support the evaluation of the study area / studied play.
  • Integrate geological and geophysical interpretations towards the estimation of prospective resources, the probability of success, risks and uncertainties.
  • Contribute to exploration wells drilling, by means of G&G data synthesis at regional, sub-regional and prospect scales, under the guidance of the Technical coordinator and Exploration Manager.
  • Works jointly with rest of team members and develop autonomy in G&G analysis from mentoring.
  • Contributes to reporting, presentations and documentation obligations to partners or to the regulator.
  • Follow on internal procedures and technical tools development to implement locally to company standards.
  • Network through scientific, academic and technical organizations and participate to international seminars.

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

Education/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in earth sciences or above.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience. 

Skills:

  • Understanding of EXPLO organization and entities functioning. 
  • Soft skills: good listener, team player, ability to influence and to convince, open-minded. 
  • Fluent in English; Competency in Spanish is a plus
