  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies and agreements to advance TotalEnergies E&P Mozambique projects and act as a focal point for working with Area 4 and the Government of Mozambique to ensure maximization of synergies while protecting TotalEnergies’ interests and minimizing any immediate and longer-term risk.

Aktivitäten


  • Contribute to guarantee effective coordination between TotalEnergies, Area 4 and Government on broader development items including Ports, Domestic gas and Industrial development.
  • Manage general Strategy for working with Area 4, ensuring Totalenergies’ interests are protected.
  • Manage agreements with Area 4 on common projects, including Project Support Plan, Security, Commons Areas, Shared Facilities, and others as they arise.
  • Ensure that Area 1 rights in the DUAT and marine concession area are protected, and development can proceed as needed.
  • Address any present or future issues regarding RBLL ( Rovuma Basin LNG Land) and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Support development of a strategic plan for operating DUAT and Marine concessions and common services, anticipating needs, gaps and future risks regarding coordination with Area 4, Government of Mozambique plans, common services, and other external parties.
  • Help with engagement with Government and Government supported entities in order to understand their long- term development plans for Industrialization in Cabo Delgado, in order to help shape and structure the development.
  • In conjunction with Social Performance, support long term development of Palma region to ensure longer term goals are achieved.
  • Establish/develop/maintain regular face to face contact with Ministerial Staff at relevant government agencies such as Energy, Finance, Labor, Immigration, Customs/Duties, Others as necessary.
  • In conjunction with other staff in Mozambique, establish/develop/maintain regular face to face contact with International Agencies or Embassies.


Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers


  • Masters degree in Business Administration,  Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Business or Law (however not a practicing attorney),       
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in International Oil and Gas, Mining, Power or other relevant industry or large project experience preferred.
  • Commercial acumen essential.
  • Good Interpersonal and relationship building skills essential.
  • Government relations experience essential, preferably within Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Experience with working with Exploration & Production contracts, joint operating agreements, and/or other equivalent commercial agreements is preferred
  • Should have good understanding of Operations, preferably Oil and Gas.
  • Fluent in Portuguese  and English.
