Aktivitäten

The Assest Management Analyst is part of TotalEnergies US Utility solar asset management team, responsible for managing the long-term financial performance and compliance of a portfolio of utility scale solar and storage assets.  This position will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to manage the commercial, contractual, regulatory, and reporting obligations of the assigned projects to ensure compliance and maximize return on investment for the various project investors. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to drive performance across a portfolio of solar and storage projects by coordinating with internal/external stakeholders to optimize production, maximize revenue and minimize operating expenses while ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage project level contracts (e.g. PPA, land leases, interconnection agreement) ensuring compliance, engaging directly with relevant stakeholders and leading resolution of any commercial disagreements as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of cash flow waterfalls, equity distributions and debt service payments as required under financing agreements (e.g. credit agreement, LLCA).
  • Prepare and present monthly reports, analyze variance and prepare commentaries for internal management, external investors and PPA off takers as needed.
  • Work closely with project accounting team to ensure transactions are recorded accurately on P&L, following up as needed to correct any deviations.
  • Monitor and drive solar plant and storage operational performance by working closely with the operations team to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives.
  • Develop knowledge of electricity markets in which assigned portfolios are interconnected, working directly with trading team to make recommendations to optimize revenue considering real-time and day ahead participation, RECs and ancillary product sales.
  • Coordinate creation and approval of project level budgets and long-term business plans.
  • Monitor project level P&L performance working closely with O&M management.
  • Manage insurance certificates and facilitate insurance claims.
  • Perform or support other ad-hoc task or projects that broadly the Asset Management team supports.

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or MBA preferred
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Background in renewable asset management or a related asset management discipline

Skills:

  • Experience with insurance is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel capabilities
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, early-stage company environment
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements
