• You have a degree in Finance, Accounting or similar;
• You have at least 10 years' experience in financial positions, with a very good knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
• You have experience of IFRS accounting standards;
• You have good listening and dialogue skills with business and functional departments;
• You have good writing skills;
• You are fluent in French and English.

Your main missions are as follows:

• Ensure the application and dissemination of IFRS standards and Accounting Instructions for the RC Branch, requiring a high level of expertise ;
• Assist the Business and Functional Divisions in the application of accounting standards ;
• Harmonize the Refining & Chemicals Division's accounting rules and procedures, and ensure their approval by the General Secretariat ;
• Implement IRS accounting procedures within the Branch ;
• Assist and advise the Functional Departments and Business Units in the application of IFS standards in their projects ;
• Ensure proper follow-up of accounting decisions for the Division ;
• Be in constant contact with the Company's Consolidation department, and participate in updating the financial reporting manual for aspects that may impact the Branch ;
• Monitor changes in accounting standards (IFRS, US Gaap, local rules), identify possible impacts, and inform the Finance Department accordingly ;
• Assist the Functional Departments and the Business Units in applying accounting standards when drawing up their budgets and Long-Term Plans.

TotalEnergies Petrochemicals & Refining is looking for its future Accounting Standards Manager for the Refining Chemicals Division.

As Accounting Standards Manager within the Refining & Chemicals (RC) business line, you will be responsible for the application and dissemination of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Accounting Instructions. This function provides expertise to all the branch's Business Units and Functional Divisions, with a global view of all the branch's financial issues.

The position is based in Brussels. Possibility of teleworking.
