Context & Environment

  • This position is based in Maputo, as a member of the HSE Methods Team and will support all project locations in Mozambique and abroad. It included mission in Mozambique (Afungi, Maputo, Pemba …) and outside Mozambique.
  • Contactors are not familiar with TotalEnergies HSE requirements.
  • Development of an HSE Audit Program for TEPMA1, that assesses:
  1. Implementation of the HSE Management System and minimizing of HSE risks.
  2. Compliance to certification standards (Eg. ISO 14001 certifications).
  3. TEPMA1 Contractors related risks. 
  • Ensures good coordination & interface with internal/external audit teams, in order to plan and realize the audits in time

Atividades

General:

  • Strongly support the deployment of the key HSE programs, including TotalEnergies’s Golden Rules and awareness-raising campaigns as well as Company’s HSE initiatives in all affiliate’s sites.
  • Contribute to the development and application of innovative methodology, practices, initiatives, tools and technics.
  • Participate to all relevant HSE activities e.g. HSE workshops, meetings, risks assessments, audits, site visit, safety tour.
  • Participate actively in the issuance of the HSE Management System documents (procedures, Terms of Reference, etc).
  • Is part of the Incident Management Team team on request.

 

Contractor Management and Audit:

  • Develops and continuously improves, an integrated Health, Safety & Environment Audit Program, for TEPMA1.
  • Perform self-assessments against the HSE Management system and develop action plan to close the gaps.
  • Establish annual HSE audit plan based on One Maestro, on internal and external requirements.
  • Ensure that HSE audits are timely prepared and successfully conducted.
  • Organize and execute internal planned HSE Audits/Reviews.
  • Conduct, lead or participate in Contractors’ HSE Management System audits. 
  • Record audit findings, recommendations and actions into the Incident management tool (One Synergi) and follow-up the implementation of recommendations and actions.
  • Prepare and present results of audits to leadership at various levels, as well as to relevant stakeholders. 
  • Improve the methodology and the quality of the HSE Audits/Reviews by capitalizing on the experience
  • Review exhibits and requirements, perform evaluation and assessment and audits.
  • Develop Safety Contract Owner program.
  • Prepare the HSE questionnaire and template for HSE Tender evaluation
  • Perform the HSE evaluation for Call For Tender process.
  • Review HSE exhibit of the contract and ensure that HSE aspect related to the scope are included.
  • Participate to the various meetings with Contractors: Kick off meeting, Supplier Quality Management.
  • Interface with Contracts and Procurement regarding the implementation of the Central Referrals related Contactor management
  • Ensure that Contractor activities are compliant with Contractor HSE policies, plans and the contractual HSE requirements.
  • Support contractors to understand TotalEnergies HSE requirements and implement action plans for compliance.

Perfil do Candidato

  • Bachelors degree in the Engineering field, or equivalent with HSE certification; HSE audit certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE related matters, preferably in Oil & Gas Projects with at least 3 years in auditing role.
  • Technical knowledge of safety, health and environment management.
  • Good understanding of HSE policies and strategies, HSE Management Systems.
  • Good knowledge of Company referential framework (Rules, Specifications, Guides).
  • Strong team spirit, field proven coordination and communication skills and recognized capability to work in a transverse mode.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
