Context:

Direct exposure to the CEO and CFO through regular interactions, in a demanding and constantly evolving environment—including stock market fluctuations and financial events—that requires great flexibility and increased responsiveness. The goal is to provide Investor relations team members with recommendations regarding shareholder perspectives and all financial matters, supported by relevant, updated, and analyzed financial data .

Missions:

• In a demanding and rapidly evolving environment, as the chief analyst, you will be under the supervision of the Senior Vice President Investor Relations and Financial Communication to carry out the following missions 
• Identify and select relevant financial information specific to the energy sector and related sectors, published by banks and competing companies, then develop summary notes for the CEO, CFO, and other COMEX members.
• Conduct thorough competitive intelligence by analyzing TotalEnergies' position relative to its peers and formulate recommendations to management based on best practices identified in competitor publications
• Supervise a team of 2-3 analysts, ensuring their continuous training and rigorous verification and validation of their work .
• Provide a quarterly analysis of discrepancies related to TotalEnergies' shareholder structure, accompanied by recommendations for the team to identify new prospects
• Work closely with the SVP COMFI to provide highly relevant information, presented with extreme rigor and clarity, directly to the CEO and CFO
• Coordinate the production of daily reports (performance report) addressed to the CEO, as well as weekly and monthly reports on stock price trends
• Validate Investor Relations team's contribution to major internal financial publications such as the annual report and the Factbook; also ensure the layout and publication of the Factbook
• Provide investor relations managers with recommendations regarding shareholder prospects and all financial matters, supported by appropriate, updated, and analyzed financial data.
• Provide management with confidential information on analysts' and market expectations, perceptions, and reactions, as well as observed changes within the shareholder base .

You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline such as business, management, or finance. You have at least 10 years of experience in banking or investment funds as a financial analyst.

Required skills: management, financial data analysis, understanding and apprehension of financial markets, especially equity markets and the energy market.

Soft Skills: synthesis, responsiveness, rigor and flexibility, clear communication, team spirit, and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
