🌟 What You’ll Do

As the Electrical QA/QC Specialist, you will be the project’s guardian of quality—overseeing all electrical quality activities across construction, commissioning, and final turnover. You will ensure work is executed flawlessly, documentation is complete, and every installation meets or exceeds codes, standards, and TotalEnergies’ strict QA/QC requirements.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Enforce TotalEnergies’ HSE standards and champion a strong safety culture. 
  • Maintain and implement the project’s Quality Plan and track all deficiencies to resolution. 
  • Conduct electrical quality inspections using the Vyn Digital System.
  • Perform equipment receiving inspections (transformers, inverter/transformer skids). 
  • Verify contractors have submitted all required completion documentation.
  • Identify, manage, and close electrical nonconformities with corrective and preventive actions. 
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and specifications. 
  • Participate in reviews with Engineering and Procurement on material specifications. 
  • Support design reviews with the owner’s engineer to prioritize critical areas. 
  • Perform on‑site quality control inspections and coordinate with third‑party engineers. 
  • Manage organization and filing of all project QA/QC documentation. 
  • Support development of internal QA/QC policies and act as an electrical subject‑matter expert. 
  • Attend and contribute to weekly and monthly project meetings.

Profil du candidat

🎓 What You Bring

Required qualifications:

  • Associate degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or equivalent. 
  • 5+ years of QA/QC experience in utility‑scale photovoltaic projects. 
  • 5+ years of construction QA/QC experience. 
  • Strong working knowledge of PV design, codes, and technical standards. 
  • Deep understanding of electrical work for PV, BESS, medium‑voltage and high‑voltage systems.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint + Adobe Acrobat. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. 
  • Strong organizational abilities, able to deliver under tight timelines. 
  • 100% onsite at the Tymochtee Solar site.


Preferred:

  • Experience with energy storage systems (ESS).
