We are looking for an experienced Industrial Hygiene Lead to join our HSSE & Sustainability team at TotalEnergies EP Malaysia. This critical role ensures proactive management of industrial hygiene risks across offshore and onshore operations, safeguarding health and compliance while driving continuous improvement.

Activities

Your Impact

As the Industrial Hygiene Lead, you will:

  • Lead health risk assessments (HRA) and implement control measures to reduce exposure to hazards such as airborne, chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic, and psychosocial risks.
  • Drive compliance with regulatory requirements and TotalEnergies standards, engaging with DOSH, PETRONAS, and other authorities.
  • Champion contractor and workforce engagement programs to embed a proactive safety culture.
  • Conduct exposure monitoring, hazard communication, and training for at-risk personnel.
  • Facilitate assurance programs, audits, and closure of findings to strengthen industrial hygiene compliance.
  • Represent the company in external engagements and anticipate emerging risks and regulatory changes.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, science, occupational health and safety, or environmental discipline (Professional Certificate/Diploma considered with relevant experience).
  • Minimum 5–15 years of experience in oil & gas occupational health, safety, or environmental roles.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and implement HSE management systems and industrial hygiene programs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and established rapport with regulatory bodies.
  • Certifications in BOSIET, IMS/ICS, and Occupational First Aid.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and health risk assessment tools (e.g., ChemWatch).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
