Ultra-deep offshore Block 32 is located in water depths ranging from 1,400 to 1,900 meters. It includes the Kaombo development hub, which covers six fields: Gindungo, Gengibre, Louro, Mostarda, Canela and Caril. Production started in 2018, current production 156 Kbopd. Within the Geoscience and Reservoir (G&R) Division of B32 Asset, the Reservoir Monitoring Team contributes to optimize short, mid and long-term production in common efforts and synergies with the other Departments of the Asset. This position of Digital Reservoir Monitoring Engineer is focused on developing and maintaining digital solutions that contributes to enhance the production and injection performance of Block 32 reservoirs in TotalEnergies EP Angola.
As part of the Block 32 Reservoir Monitoring Team, your missions will be:
• Gathering data and putting it in perspective to contribute to dynamic synthesis of fields in close collaboration with other Reservoir Engineers, Geophysicist and Geologist from the G&R team;
• Develop and maintain data science workflows based on geosciences and reservoir data according to business demands;
• Develop dashboards on PowerBI to contribute to perform sharper analysis with multiset data from sensors and analytical interpretations;
• Perform day to day monitoring and reporting of anomalies: understand wells´ performance, opportunities and production at risk; perform problem diagnosis and analysis;
• Evaluate fields´ constraint production/injection potential and understand their evolutions in time;
• Contribute to maintain operational envelopes for producers and injectors, and update related targets (BHP, GL, ramp-up).
Context & Environment
The selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates.
The affiliate will provide a SHARED accommodation.
To be eligible for this program, you must be between 18 and 28 and hold the nationality of a country in the European Economic Area.
