Education: - BEng / BSc in Engineering, Marine, Naval Architecture or equivalent,
Professional experience: - 5 to 10-year experience in subsea inspection, pipeline design, pipeline construction or marine classification, including Supervisory experience.
Job holder shall also be knowledgeable about international design and construction codes for pipelines as well as subsea inspection risks, findings, mitigations and repair
English: - fluent
Subsea inspection in oil & gas is an added advantage
Activities
Responsible for the preparation of annual Subsea Inspection scope of work in accordance with applicable company rules and general specifications.
Ensure the implementation and progress of the Annual Subsea Inspection Program
Prepare inspection report with details of all anomalies, integrity threats and downgraded situations clearly highlighted
Manage the follow up and final execution of actions triggered by the inspections
Ensure that all risks associated to corrosion and structural behaviour of the subsea assets are identified, communicated and that preventative or remedial solutions are put in place.
Responsible for the follow up of integrity of the risers, pipelines, structures, mooring systems and hulls of the floating units
Review Subsea Inspection Reports. Propose corrective actions and, after validation, issue Recommendations using the dedicated Data Base (UNISUP) and ensure they are completed with the adequate level of priority
In addition, the job holder will be responsible for inspecting the items which are part of the Emergency Pipeline Repair System (EPRS) and will ensure adequacy of EPRS with major threats identified by Asset Integrity.
Responsible for contractor’s mobilization and site execution of Intelligent-Pigging Campaigns
Maintain the implementation of the Inspection results in UNISUP, PRODOM, and other dedicated data base priority
