Activities

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The Sr. HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. 


What You’ll Do:


  • Policies: Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.  
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.  
  • Program Management: Parental Leave, STD, LTD, Accommodations, FMLA, Workers Comp, Fitness Subsidy, Relocation and Tuition Reimbursement for all TEAS employees.  
  • Participates in the design, development and implementation of new business objectives.  Recommend improvements to strategy, processes and applications as necessary.  Coordinates with, leads and         supports all site HR teams to achieve desired results and provides expertise in areas of responsibility.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns, conflict resolution and policy interpretation.  Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, and retention.
  • Lead workplace investigations and support corrective actions when necessary.
  • Performance Management: Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance and accountability.  Work with managers to implement a performance improvement plan when necessary.  
  • Ensure alignment of all HR activities across all business units.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation; execute strategies to improve processes. Build capabilities in data-driven decision making and HR best practices.  Oversee digitalization efforts.
  • Reporting: Responsible for HQ reports: Headcount, Societal, others.  Responsible for regulatory reports: EEO-1, others.
  • HRIS/Data Analytics: Track and analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, etc.) to drive data-informed decisions.  Prepare reports for leadership on workforce trends and HR initiatives. Oversee, optimize, manage activities of HRIS and employee records including I-9’s.
  • Member of the Crisis Management Team.  
  • Mentor HR Business Partner assigned to TEAS.
  • Listen, communicate, and coordinate with all levels of employees including management and executive.
  • Must be knowledgeable of federal, state, and local employment law. 
  • Mentor HR Business Partner and ensure excellent customer services while managing concurrent initiatives and activities.
     
  • This position recommends company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations. Oversees the disability, FMLA, parental leave, FMLA, relocation, and accommodations for TEAS employees.  Responsible for the completion of all regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
  • Maintain a very high level of internal customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure practices comply with Group Code of Conduct and US, state and local employment law.


Candidate Profile

What We’re Looking For:

  •     Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or relevant business field with 10+ years progressive HR experience.
  •     Required Skills / Certifications: Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a timely manner.
  •     High level of integrity, leadership, and communication skills.
  •     Competent in MS office suite, experience with HRIS or ERP systems.  
  •     Must have a working knowledge of employment law and keep abreast of all current legislation.
  •     PHR/SPHR, SHRM-PC/SHRM-SCP Certification required.
