We are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team on a 12-month contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders with accurate, insightful financial data.

Activities

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a key liaison with auditors, shareholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze general ledger activities and perform consolidation adjustments.
  • Support the integration of two accounting systems and enhance reporting tools.
  • Submit government surveys and regulatory filings.
  • Maintain high-quality financial records and contribute to process improvements.
  • Prepare and submit accounting returns and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking more than just a finance expert—we’re looking for a trusted advisor who thrives on accuracy, transparency, and teamwork.  You bring a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of financial reporting, and the confidence to navigate complex systems and regulations. 

  • Qualifications - ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years with a Degree, or 15 years with a Professional Certificate.
  • Preferably with experience in the upstream oil & gas sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in SAP and upstream accounting
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written)
  • Comfortable navigating change and complexity
  • Familiarity with PSCs, JOAs, and financial compliance frameworks
