Candidate Profile

Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Joint Venture, Director - Offshore Wind reporting to our NYC office.  


Attentive has successfully secured a 1.3GW offtake contract in New Jersey in 2024 and plans on further scaling its efforts and securing opportunities in the months ahead. We’re looking for team members motivated to establishing the foundations of a large capital offshore wind project through the various phases of such development and making a difference in our backyard.


What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in partnership-based structures at various levels of management / leadership. Proven track-record of managing partnerships in industrial multicultural environments.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in project controls/ project management/asset management in industrial projects. 
  • Proven ability to work as a leader of large, multidisciplinary diverse teams
  • Knowledge of the US renewable industry across development phases and especially knowledge of the offshore wind industry.
  • Knowledge and track record of permitting, financing, and/or constructing large industrial projects a strong plus. 
  • Practice of financial reporting on large industrial projects. 
  • Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.

Activities

  • Delivery of all development services under TERUSA’s Development Management Agreement (“DMA”) with the Project
  • Coordination of all workstreams under the DMA, including stakeholder management, financing, permitting, engineering, procurement, and project control workstreams
  • Direction and coordination of the Project toward its primary goals and objectives to ensure delivery of Project milestones safely, on time, and on budget
  • Management of decision making of the Board in accordance with the Project’s governance and implementation of the Board resolutions
  • Ensure implementation of all applicable and required Project policies and TERUSA policies and execution of all project activities in compliance with such policies
  • Acts as primary point of contact on behalf of the Project for third parties including relevant authorities, contractors, and further stakeholders
  • Coordinates internal resource allocation to the Project with applicable TTE functions (Head of Development OFW US, TEAS, OneTech, TGP) as well as external resource allocation in accordance with applicable service and/or secondment agreements
  • Responsibility of establishing and administering annual budgets in accordance with Project’s governance
  • Leadership for the development, refinement, updating, optimization, and execution of the Project’s Master Business Plan
  • Performance of other tasks and additional duties as assigned by the VP US OFW and/or the Board
  • Implement the governance and management best practices in accordance with LLCA, DSAs, MSA, etc… (Company Management system, Finance, Procurement, Contract, Technical, HSE, Insurance, HR procedures, etc…)
