Context & Environment

The Head of Consolidation and Reporting will lead the external reporting and consolidation functions for TotalEnergies Holdings USA, Inc at the TotalEnergies Tower in Houston, Tx. 


Activities

The Head of Consolidation and Reporting will lead the external reporting and consolidation functions for TotalEnergies Holdings USA, Inc. (TEHUSA) and provide technical accounting support to TEHUSA and its +60 affiliates. 

  • Consolidate US entities into the IFRS full financial statements, with accompanying notes, at year-end and produce 4 quarterly review packages with limited financial statements at each quarter-end.
  • Ensure reporting is performed timely and accurately. Ensure continuous compliance for the regular and ad hoc governmental reporting requirements.
  • Develop and manage a team of 4 employees and 1 contractor. Communicate with senior management, provide the team with constructive feedback, as needed, and perform activities in line with the department key priorities.
  • Prepare technical accounting memos when needed to support accounting treatment under Group Accounting policies.
  • Lead liaison to the external audit team for the management and coordination of the quarterly financial audit. This includes resolution of problems as they arise and development of the Company’s “best practice” procedures.
  • Perform tasks including but are not limited to supporting the team with various projects throughout the year including dispositions, acquisitions, new accounting pronouncements, manual journal entry review in accordance with company guidelines, and support for maintaining the SAP reporting environment

Candidate Profile

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • BBA Degree in Accounting or above
  • 5 to 10 years of Accounting Experience; Big4 background a plus
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • Strong written, oral, and analytical skills
