We are seeking an accomplished Head of Assets (Kenyalang) to shape long-term asset strategy, drive operational excellence, and represent TotalEnergies EP Malaysia at the highest levels of regulatory and JV governance.

Your Impact

As a key member of the Assets, Subsurface & Planning leadership team, you will:

  • Define and execute the 1–5-year strategic roadmap for Kenyalang assets, ensuring alignment with Group objectives and JV priorities.
  • Lead the development and delivery of Work Plan & Budget (WP&B), securing regulatory approvals and partner concurrence.
  • Represent TotalEnergies in high-level engagements with PETRONAS-MPM and JV partners, influencing decisions that impact asset value and national energy objectives.
  • Oversee structured reporting to HQ and stakeholders, ensuring transparency on performance, milestones, and financial outcomes.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Operations, HSSE, Commercial, and Finance to optimize asset performance and long-term value creation.

What We Are Looking For

We seek a visionary leader with strong commercial and technical acumen. To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in upstream Oil & Gas, including 10+ years in asset management and strategic planning.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, PSC agreements, and JV governance.
  • Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP (or equivalent).
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions at senior levels.
  • Strong analytical capability, resilience under pressure, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
